Just days after the first extension expired, Tencent pushed it out another 27 days to August 31. This is already the second delay.

What Is WorkBuddy and How Hot Is It Right Now
WorkBuddy is a desktop office AI that Tencent launched in June. It's the same category as overseas agents like codex and Claude Code, but with a completely different positioning. Its biggest advantage is localization done right — no need for VPN, your account is just your WeChat or WeCom, the model list includes Hy3 / DeepSeek / Tongyi Qianwen, it reads domestic docx and WPS spreadsheets directly without conversion, and it even recognizes niche domestic needs like "Xiaohongshu-style copy generation" from your clipboard.
